Wonder Woman Review

Wonder Woman is a superhero film based on the DC Comics character of the same name. It's the fourth film installment to the DC Extended Universe. Wonder Woman is also the first live action theatrical film starring the character in her own movie. It's produced by DC Films, Atlas Entertainment, Cruel and Unusual Films, Tencent Pictures, and Wanda Pictures, and distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures. It's directed by Patty Jenkins and written by Allan Heinberg.

The story is U.S. military pilot Steve Trevor has washed up on an island named Themyscria. He tells Diana and the other Amazons about the ongoing events of World War I and Diana decides to leave Themyscria and go to London to bring an early end to the war.

  • Negatives

I have nothing to say. Let's move on.

  • Mix

One aspect this film should have worked on more was the villains. Their are good but some of the stuff they did can be considered clichéd. One scene literally had them manically laughing after they just killed a group of people.

  • Positives

This movie's set designs are amazing. You have the dirty & dingy battlefield & the beautiful Themyscira. Especially Themyscira I could have looked at that place forever.

Now to talk about the action scenes. I loved these scenes. Patty Jenkins did a great job so thumbs up in this department but if I had to pick my favorite scene it would have been the No Man's Land scene. It was an outstanding scene & the music that went with it just made it better.

Gal Gadot all I have to say about her is she owns this role. I was concerned if she could handle this film on her own but after I walked out of theater she proved she can. I can't wait to see more of her in Justice League.

Another positive is the chemistry between Gal Gadot & Chris Pine besides the action scenes seeing them interact was also entertaining. They had good funny moments & great serious moments. One scene that I loved between them was when Steve Trevor taught Wonder Woman how to dance. It was a such a great moment for them.

Wonder Woman has spectacular set designs, action scenes you will love, Gal Gadot is excellent & her chemistry with Chris Pine was great. However some things the villains do are still intimidating but others things they do can be kind of corny.

My final rating for this movie is Great
