Justice League vs. Teen Titans is a 2016 direct-to-video animated superhero film and it is the twenty-fifth movie in the DC Universe Animated Original Movies franchise and the sixth film in the DC Animated Movie Universe. It's produced by Warner Bros. Animation and DC Entertainment and distributed by Warner Home Video. The film was written by Bryan Q. Miller and Alan Burrnet and directed by Sam Liu.

The story is Trigon has possessed the Justice League and captured Raven. It's all part of his plan to rise and destroy the world. The Teen Titans must work together to stop him before the world goes to hell.

  • Negatives

One thing that rubbed me the wrong way was the title. Yes we do get a Justice League and Teen Titans fight but it was one scene and lasted four minutes. Besides that one scene the large majority of the film is the Titans bonding and the League trying to figure what's possessing people including their fellow Justice League member Superman and his whereabouts.

My other complaint is Damian's character. If you ever watched Son of Batman, Batman vs. Robin, and Batman: Bad Blood you would see that Damian was changing from being a prick to being a decent person. In this movie he's back to being a prick.

  • Mix

One thing that's a mix bag for me anyhow is Taissa Farmiga as Raven. The voice she provided isn't bad but she kinda made Raven sound younger than what she is. In this movie she's fourteen or fifteen but when she talks she sounds likes she's a tad bit younger than that almost twelve.

  • Positives

One thing I did like about the movie was that they did a good job introducing Trigon. The writers made a good choice by sprinkling bits and pieces of him throughout the story as suppose to give us a big long origin scene about him. We still do get that origin scene but it was short and sweet.

Another thing I liked about Justice League vs. Teen Titans is the carnival montage. I like that scene because not only was it fun but because it also give us character development for the Titans.

Once again DC's animated movies give us great action filled moments. Three of my favorites are the Justice League fighting the Legion of Doom, the Justice League vs the Teen Titans, and both teams fighting against Trigon.

Justice League vs. Teen Titans best aspects are introducing Trigon in a way that doesn't feel like it's long and dragged out, a good bonding montage for the Teen Titans, and awesome action scenes. Taissa's Raven voice isn't bad but it will take some time to get use to. My biggest gripes are the film's title and Damian's character taking a few steps backwards.

My final rating is Okay
