Looking at The Laughably Bad Jurassic Park Trilogy Blu-Rays

Hello everybody so this is a little bit different since I don't write about Blu-Ray covers but I wanted to do this since it popped into my head since I finished watching Jurassic Park III. Not this is not original plenty of people have talked about them. In matter of fact some points I'm about to talk about are most likely the same things other internet smartasses have said. But let's have some fun here and look at this hilariously awful Blu-Ray covers to the best dinosaur film series ever.

Alright so the first victim is well the first movie. First off that's not the Jurassic Park logo that's the Jurassic World's logo. Now I don't understand why they did this it makes no sense. My only guess maybe since the Jurassic World logo is basically an updated version of Jurassic Park's maybe it would work but it doesn't. In matter of fact it's kind of lazy actually. Then we have the T-Rex oh boy the T-Rex. What did they do to the poor mascot of the franchise? I mean look at it's head it doesn't even look likes it's positioned correctly. And there's something about the eyes that are bugging me I don't know what it is but something about those eyes look weird. Then we have Alan Grant. He is way too small compared to the jeep or is the jeep too big either way there's definitely something wrong with the size of Alan and the jeep. Also this scene isn't played out right, here's the actually scene that the cover is suppose to be copying

Oh it just came to me. That's not a flair that Alan is holding someone just put a lens flair and said "Yeah that atta do it". Then just to make this cover even worse than it already was Alan's not looking at the damn T-Rex. His head is off to the left but the T-Rex is on his right side. How did they screw that one up!? Alright that's enough of that, let's move on.

Now the first thing I noticed is this time around they decide to make the logo completely grey. Which I don't understand. Why not just keep it like they did with the previous cover? Also this picture on the Blu-Ray never happens. I rewatched the film just to make sure and yeah throughout the whole movie this scene never happens. So the cover is lying to everybody. And yet again this photoshop! What is going on with the Stegosaurus'? First off they are way too big even for Jurassic Park standards and their heads are way too small. The heads look like the size of legos compared to their entire bodies.

Okay how did this happen? How is it that the third movie has the least bad looking Blu-Ray cover? So yeah like I said this one isn't too bad compared to the others but there is still some problems. One the Pteranodon doesn't really look like it's going after Billy, it looks like it's going in a another direction. And the coloring for the logo is awful. Who decide it was a good idea to use a yellowish brownish color grading for the logo? That just looks ugly.

So anyhow guys that's going to do it for me. Come back next time for the final chapter of the Road to Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom with my review of Jurassic World.
