Road to Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom - Jurassic World Review

Jurassic World is a 2015 science fiction adventure film and the fourth film in the Jurassic Park film series. The movie is produced Amblin Entertainment and Legendary Pictures and distributed by Universal Pictures. Jurassic World was written by Colin Trevorrow, Derek Connolly, Rick Jaffa, and Amanda Silver and directed by Colin Trevorrow

The story is it's been 22 years after Jurassic Park failed but now there's a new park called Jurassic World. Everything seems to be going great just like what John Hammond wanted the first park to be. However after making a genetically new breed of dinosaur the park goes into chaos. Can our heroes make it out off the island alive or are they food for a new breed?

• Negatives

The only aspect of Jurassic World I didn't like nor care for was Zach and Gray's parents are going through a divorce subplot. Mainly because it was unnecessary. If you would have cut it out of the film entirely the movie would remain the same. Especially at the end it just becomes a throw away line.

My other complaint with Jurassic World is Vic Hoskins' subplot of wanting to use the raptors and the Indominus Rex as military weapons. I just shook my head just because I thought it was stupid. I mean it could have worked but with how it was handled in the film it just didn't do it for me.

• Positives

One thing the filmmakers did right was the park. It's just gorgeous. The Jurassic World park is everything John Hammond wanted Jurassic Park to be in the first movie.

Another thing to enjoy about this movie is Chris Pratt's performance. Not only is his character awesome but he ie definitely the most likeable. So likeable you want his character to make it out on top.

Now a lot of people complained about the CGI saying it looks bad and Jurassic Park's CGI was better. In all honesty I want what those people were smoking. Because the CG is a million times better than any of the CG in the previous installments. And I'm gonna stand by that statement until the day I die.

Jurassic World introduced a new dinosaur called the Indominus Rex and I loved this thing. The film made it a complete monster and used it's abilities perfectly.

I loved the action in Jurassic World. It was all out fun and doesn't come off as boring. The best ones was when the Indominus Rex escaped and the final fight at the end of the movie.

Jurassic World is definitely on my favorite entries in the Jurassic Park franchise. The park was beautiful, Chris Pratt's performance was great, the CG was absolute perfection, the Indominus Rex was a great bad guy, and I give the action scenes two thumbs up. The only bad things about the film are the Vic and the kid's subplots.
