What You Probably Didn't Know About Ed, Edd n Eddy (1999-2009)

Hello and welcome to another edition of What You Probably Didn't Know About. And this time I want to do something different with this segment. Usually this is about movies but last year I used a celebrity that being famous author Stephen King and people really liked it. So instead of a movie or celebrity why not a TV show. And not just any show a cartoon that I grew up with during my childhood. So let me tell you things you probably didn't know about Ed, Edd n Eddy.

1. The trademark in the show is all of the characters have different color tongues. This is actually based on an experience the show's creator Danny Antonucci once hard. During a meeting his son and his friends came in and because of all the candy that ate each one of them had different colored tongues.

2. Ed, Edd n Eddy has no set timeline. Danny Antonucci wanted the show to appeal to any generation. So if there's ever a computer or VCR it was only needed for a plot.

3. The showed aired on January 4, 1999 and ended on November 8, 2009. Meaning the show lasted 10 years thus making it Cartoon Network's longest running show.

4. Seasons one's production was between 1997-1998 but the first episode didn't air until January 4th, 1999.

5. Voice recording was done by Ocean Productions. If that company sounds familiar that's because their also responsible for voice recording of Dragon Ball Z, Mega Man, Street Sharks, and X-Men: Evolution.

6. The Eds last names are never given throughout the whole show but their middle names are. Ed's is Horace, Edd's is Marion, and Eddy's is Skipper.

11. When a cartoon character's outlines vibrate, this technique is called "Squigglevision" or "boiling lines".

7. Whenever the character's outlines would vibrate the technique is called "Squigglevision" or "boiling lines".

8. Without counting holiday specials, Seasons 1-4 happened in Summer and Seasons 5-6 happened during Autumn.

9. The show was the last major cartoon to use hand drawn animation cels. Then when the show was renewed for two more seasons, the studio switched to digital ink-and-paint and compositing.

10. Originally there was going to be a sixth season of the show containing 13 episodes but Danny Antonucci decided to work on the movie instead.

Image result for ed edd n eddy double d

11. To this very day nobody knows what's under Double D's (Edd's) hat. Antonucci teased it for Ed, Edd n Eddy's Big Picture Show but it was never revealed. One game on Cartoon Network's website showed he had a curly hair underneath but the game's non-cannon so it doesn't count. Also people were in shock and awe when he's hat was removed so that wouldn't make any sense.

12. In the episode "A Twist of Ed" the book Reverse Psychology Manual's author is Dr. Kent Webb. The author's name is the same name of the show's storyboard artist.

13. Every single episode title has the name Ed in it. Such Keeping Up with the Eds, Oath to an Ed,  Dear Ed, Urban Ed, Ed in a Halfshell, and For Your Ed Only just to name a few.

14. Many residents who live in the Cul-de-Sac were inspired by people Danny Antonucci grew up with. Such as The Kanker Sisters were based on girls who would harass him.

Image result for ed edd n eddy johnny

15. Johnny was originality suppose to carry around a blanket, but they changed it to Plank. The change was made so he wouldn't be similar to the Peanuts character Linus van Pelt.

16. Danny Antonucci pitched Ed, Edd n Eddy to Nickelodeon but he was denied the right to have full control of the show. Then he took it to Cartoon Network then they bought it and Danny was given full control over the series.

Image result for ed edd n eddy rolfImage result for ed edd n eddy nazz

17. Besides The Kanker Sisters, Rolf and Nazz are the only characters to have their last names revealed. Rolf's is Vorlick and Nazz's is Van Bartonschmeer.

18. The whole reason the show was ever made was because Danny Antonucci was dared to. He was mostly know for his highly-disturbing adult animated shorts, but was dared to create a show that kids could watch.

So that's going to do it for this edition of What You Probably Didn't Know About. I'll as always do another one of these but it won't come until June 7th and that one will return us to movies. What film will it be...you'll just have to wait and find out.

Road to Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom - Jurassic Park Review

Image result for jurassic park poster

With Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom coming out this year I figured it would be a good idea to start my series of reviews for the Jurassic Park franchise. So let's get started.

Jurassic Park is a 1993 science-fiction adventure film. The movie was based on Michael Crichton's 1990 novel of the same name. Jurassic Park was produced by Amblin Entertainment and distributed by Universal Pictures. The movie was written by Michael Crichton and David Koepp and directed by Steven Spielberg.

The story is a selected group of people are invited to an island populated by dinosaurs. While John Hammond has let people explore the park things quickly turn deadly when the dinosaurs break free and go hunting. This group must escape before they're eaten by the prehistoric animals.

  • Negatives

I've got nothing to say. So let's move on.

  • Mix

Now we all have to admit something the CGI is 50/50. Some of it is done well and blends in nicely with the animatronics but other times it's really outdated. Like the first time we see a dinosaur the CGI looks like it could be a video game cutscene. But as I've said before some of it is very good like when the T-Rex makes it's first appearance that was CG done right.

  • Positives

One thing that everybody loves is the music. John Williams' score is one of the highlights of this movie. It's memorable and you definitely can't get the main theme out of your head.

Another thing to love about Jurassic Park is how they explain go the dinosaurs came to be. It's not the dinosaurs have always been on the island or something clichéd like that. It's very scientific and throughout their explanation it was never boring or drawn out.

One other thing to appreciate is the characters. Their all very interesting and well rounded. They aren't clichés or stereotypical, each one has their own unique trait and characteristic.

What I love the most about Jurassic Park is the animatronics. I think there way better than the CGI. The effects of them are very very well done and sometimes they do blend with the CGI.

Jurassic Park definitely deserved it's spot as one of the classics. The music is beautiful, the explanation of the dinosaur's creation is amazing, all of the characters are great, and the animatronics are astounding. The only thing the film is in a grey area is the CGI.

My final rating is Great

Black Panther Easter Eggs

Related image

Well it's that time again. A live-action comic book movie comes out and I tell you some of the easter eggs I noticed in the movie. And as always this post is about the easter eggs I noticed so don't expect every single one in the film to be here. Alright with that out of the way let's get started.

Image result for marvel klaw

One of the easter eggs is Ulysses Klaue's arm cannon. While the weapon does have the same idea that being using a sonic sound as form laser beam, but what makes them different is the way their designed.

When T'Challa enters Shuri's lab he's wearing sandals that are very old fashioned. Shuri notices this and ask "what are those"? This being a reference to the popular Vine meme.

Image result for black panther stan lee

Stan Lee makes another great cameo in a Marvel film. This time he's steals casino chips from Everett Ross when he was in South Korea.

Image result for marvel killmonger mask

When Erik extracts Klaue he wears a mask that looks similar to the one he wears in the comics. Only this one has more details in it than just a flat surface.

Related image

One of the alternate suits that Shuri shows T'Challa is one that has a gold necklace around it. This is a callback to Black Panther's previous costume back when it was being drawn with a golden necklace and cape. It would later be used be Erik Killmonger but his suit doesn't have the cape.

When Black Panther finally captures Klaue he begs T'Challa for Mercy. T'Challa responses with "Every breath you take is mercy". This line is actually a pulled from New Avengers #22.

Image result for mcu bucky

When the team takes Ross to Wakanda to heal him from his bullet wound, Shuri says "Another white boy to fix". This is a reference to Bucky Barnes aka The Winter Soldier. Who is currently living there to help with his brainwashing.

Related image

Part of Erik's plan to launch attacks in New York, London, and Hong Kong. The reason this is kind of an easter egg in because those locations hold sanctums from The Masters of the Mystic Arts that were brought in Doctor Strange.

Related image

When Bucky wakes up the kids are shouting "White Wolf" to Bucky. The name White Wolf is taking from a character in the Black Panther comics. That character being T'Challa's brother Hunter.

So those were some the easter eggs I noticed in Black Panther. I do plan to do more of these, however there's a catch. Due to scheduling I'll only be able to do ones for Black Panther, Avengers: Infinity War, and if it shows up at my theater Ant-Man and The Wasp. There won't be any easter eggs post for films such Deadpool 2, Aquaman, or Spider-Man: Into the SpiderVerse. I'm so sorry but these's things tend to happen.

Black Panther Review

Image result for black panther 2017 poster

Black Panther is a superhero film based on Stan Lee and Jack Kirby's character of the same name. Black Panther is the eighteenth film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The movie is produced by Marvel Studios and distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures. Black Panther is written by Ryan Coogler and Joe Robert Cole and directed by Ryan Coogler.

The story is T'Challa has returned to his home of Wakanda after the death of his father. While he's taking up the responsibility of being a king of an entire nation powerful enemies are rising. With the fate of Wakanda at risk T'Challa needs to call for help with close allies in order to save his kingdom.

  • Negatives

I've got nothing to say. So on to the next part of the review.

  • Mix

One thing I feel like the movie could have done better is the post-credit scene. It's not bad it's just pretty basic. It doesn't further the movie nor does it help set up either the next two Marvel Studios films those being Avengers: Infinity War or Ant-Man and The Wasp. Like I said it's not bad but it could have done something more.

  • Positives

Now before the film even really picked up we get this beautiful and unique opening sequence telling us the story of Wakanda. So many gorgeous visuals that just suck you in. I said it before but I'll say it again the opening telling us Wakanda's history is beautiful and unique.

Another thing I liked about the movie was the ongoing question is should Wakanda reveal itself to the world and get more involved? One side said it should but the other side thinks they shouldn't because that's way things have been. It was such an intriguing part of the movie.

Now like all of the other Marvel Cinematic Universe movies this film definitely gives you plenty of action. The best scenes for me was the chase for Klaue and the other one was the fights between T'Challa and Erik Killmonger.

Speaking of Erik Killmonger this guy is a beast. He's ruthless, brutal, and will kill anyone who gets in the way of he's goals. Which makes him the perfect advisory for Black Panther. Another aspect I liked about he's character is you understand where's he's coming from but you don't really agree with his actions.

What I also like about Black Panther is it's minimal sense of humor. There's not too much of it say like Thor: Ragnarok had. It's more in line with Captain America: The Winter Soldier. Where yes there are jokes but just the right amount where it doesn't ruin a dramatic moment or it overshadows other moments and that's all people talk about.

Black Panther is definitely going to be on your top five or top ten list of your favorite MCU films. The opening sequence is amazing, the debate around Wakanda is interesting, the action scenes are cool, Killmonger is one of the best villains in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and the humor is nicely balanced. The post-credit scene on the other hand is meh.

My final rating is Great

Cinematic Disasters - Date Movie

Related image

So it's been awhile since I reviewed a comedy movie. Well an intentional one. And since this is Cinematic Disasters it's no surprise that I'm reviewing a bad comedy movie. So let's get to it.

Date Movie is a 2006 romantic comedy movie produced by Epsilon Motion Pictures, Regency Enterprises, and New Regency and distributed by 20th Century Fox. Date Movie was "written" by cinema hacks Aaron Seltzer and Jason Friedberg and directed by Aaron Seltzer.

The story is Julia is a hopeless romantic who has finally found the man of her dreams Grant Fonkyerdoder. But she faces many hurdles before they decide to get married. Will everything go as planned or will it end up being a disaster.

My Thoughts

When the movie begins already I have a bad feeling. Basically we open out with a dream sequence were Julia is going to marry Napoleon Dynamite. Then he said he won't marry and then he process to say gosh over and over and over again. I hate Napoleon Dynamite and even I know there's more to the character than him say gosh over and over again. Then when Julia wakes up she writes in her dairy and the diary is titled Julia Jones's Diary because get it Julia Jones's Diary...Bridget Jones's Diary. Yeah that's not a joke that's a reference and it's not even a good reference because when this film came did anybody even remember Bridget Jones's Diary.

Then after that we get our opening credit sequences. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-8VOpaKnUhA. Oh boy that was only the two minutes and besides the dream sequence being an indicator of what kind of comedy were going to get I already know we are not in for anything good. Let's break this down shall we?

1. We're playing Kelis' 2003 song Milkshakes. Sure a lot of people few it as a classic. But that song became out dated the moment 2004 rolled in. So already this opening is outdated.

2. What the heck was so funny about her jiggle her boobs at the point where they spin around to her back. It's not funny it's kind of horrifying.

3. Ha Ha Ha Ha a guy ran up to her only for us to see he runs up to another guy thus making them gay. Ha like that joke has never been done before. Bravo Jason Friedberg and Aaron Seltzer bravo.

4. Really a freeze frame joke? Wasn't that already done to death by the time this film came out or even before it came out? Either way it's not funny. In matter of fact the joke was just predictable.

Then after Julia meets Grant she goes to Hitch. Which surprise it's a "parody" of Hitch. Now before I go on to describe this scene I feel so bad for Tony Cox. Because besides Bad Santa this is what he's know for. Being in these awful parody movies. But I digress so anyhow see meets Hitch and she says hey let's give you a makeover then we're in a Pimp My Ride "parody". Now I am going to let you watch this scene but if any of squeamish I recommend you don't watch it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q2T_JmtiGlw. Now if you noticed anything about this scene it's random assessment of gross-out jokes and then out of nowhere we get a Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith "parody".

Then Julia goes on The Extreme Bachelor: Desperate Edition. Gee I wonder what they could possibly be making fun of? I just have no idea what the spoof is. And I guess the main joke is murder because Grant is told to eliminate which woman he doesn't won't to go out with then for no reason what so ever he just shoots all of them expect Julia. Then we get the restaurant scene which is the characters making "spoofs" of When Harry Met Sally (more specifically the famous "yes scene".) and Girls Gone Wild. Then after their date they for no reason just beat up a homeless drunk guy. I'm not kidding they literally go from talking about themselves to pulverizing a bum. What is even going on here?

Then Julia takes Grant to see your parents. And I kid you not Julia's mother wants to know if Grant is shooting blinks so she wants him to go masturbate in the bathroom. Oh it gets even worse from there folks. Because then Grant enters the bathroom and sees the family cat Jinxers taking a shit. And just to make the scene even less funny it goes on for a long time...1 minute and 55 seconds to be exact. Because it's that what you want in your parody movie right? A cat taking a crap for almost 2 minutes. I swear this movie is getting worse and worse with each passing scene.

Then after that stupid scene we then cut to Julia & Grant talking. But while their talking we get another joke. This time however it's a joke about Michael Jackson being a pedophile. Because you know we never heard jokes like that before. Especially in 2006 those jokes never happened at all. In case you haven't realized by now I'm being sarcastic. For the record that actually happened.

Then Grant takes Julia to Tiffany & Co. I'll talk about the product placement later so just hang in there. In this scene Grant proposes to Julia even thought they've only being in a relationship for like what a day. Also in this scene we get a Lord of the Rings "parody". Where the joke is they sell the ring for money but don't get very much. Because that was a joke that was never made.

We later get to meet Grant's parents which he's parents are basically "The Fockers" from Meet The Fockers. It was then I realized something. This movie is "spoofing" films that are romantic comedies. Which doesn't make any sense. Since films like Hitch & Meet The Fockers were already meant to be jokes what's the point of making a "parody" out of them. There is no sense because making a parody of a joke is stupid and never works. And just to make it worse Friedberg & Seltzer decided to make a "parody" of The Wedding Planner. Where the joke is it's Jennifer Lopez and you can tell it's a "parody" of Jennifer Lopez because Grant & Julia's wedding planner is a pop singer & since Jennifer Lopez is also know for having a nice ass they make joke about that too. Granted it's not a funny joke and the scene quite literally goes nowhere but Friedberg & Seltzer thought it needed to be put in there that way their film can make the two hour mark.

After that pointless scene we get introduce to a new character Andy, Grant's best man who is really a beautiful woman. And this is basically her introduction

Note I only gave you a 40 second clip the actually scene goes on for 2 minutes and 15 seconds. Now that my not seem like a long time but it felt like it went on and on and on like it was never going to stop.

And guys that's really all the other scenes I want to tell you about. Because really all the reset of the scenes feel like the same. We get a Grant/Julia scene or their own respected scene then we get a Kill Bill "parody", a scene with the original characters then a "parody" of something like Pretty Woman. Then we get Grant & Julia getting marry then for some reason a King Kong "parody".

There are many reasons to hate this film. So I'll break it down and tell you why this film is awful.

Reason #1.  The film never stops to have a serious moment. Each scene is always a joke. Now some of you may not think that's a bad thing but some of the best parody films to give a good serious moment. Because with those serious moments we get things like tension, build-up, or character development. This movie never has that and even if they did throw in a serious moment there wouldn't be any point because then we don't know if it's a serious moment or if the filmmakers are spoofing something.

Reason #2.  Now I don't complain about product placement because I understand why it's there but with this film it might as well have been a commercial. One of the products is like I said the jewelry store Tiffany & Co. But not only do we have that product placement we also have this running gag of a hummus bottle and guess what the hummus bottle is...a Windex bottle. I'm not trying to be funny they literally have that in the movie.

Reason #3.  Pointless celebrity cameos. I'm serious we get cameo appearances from look-a-likes and they are Britney Spears, Kevin Federline, and like I said before Jennifer Lopez. We also get a cameo appearance from rapper Lil Jon who is himself not some look-a-like. But why? They don't serve any purpose for the plot nor do they provide any good jokes. So what's the point?

Reason #4.  Parodying films that are comedies. Now I know I already say this but let me reiterate my point. The movie "spoofs" films such as Wedding Crashers, Meet The Fockers, The Wedding Planner, and What Women Want and many more. This doesn't work because the films were already comedies thus they were already poking fun at themselves. So making a "parody" of it doesn't make any sense. If the film was a comedy from the start there's no reason to make a "parody" out of it. If they wanted to make of fun of romantic movies why not films such The Notebook.

Reason #5.  This is not a parody. You all probably noticed that throughout this review I've been putting quotation marks around words like parody and/or spoof. There's a reason for that. This movie isn't parodying anything. What they are doing is referencing other films. So whenever I character from a movie like My Big Fat Greek Wedding comes in it's not a parody of the character it's a reference.

Reason #6.  Spoofing films that have nothing to do with the genre their making fun of. Throughout the movie we get spoofs of films such Kill Bill and Mr. and Mrs. Smith. Those aren't romantic films their action movies. You know why Scary Movie is called that? Because they were making fun of horror movies. Sure there was a Matrix parody but I could let that slide. This movie on the other hand for some reason decide to poke fun at films that have nothing to do with the subject at hand. Those films were clearly just put there because they were popular at the time.

Date Movie is an horrendous spoof movie. The jokes aren't funny, the characters are bland, none of the parodies work, some scenes go on for way too long, and the story is just the same thing you've seen over and over again.

My final rating is Destroy It!

Now I am going to review the other Jason Friedberg and Aaron Seltzer movies but it's going to be a long time before I do that again. So if I'm not doing another Friedberg/Seltzer movie then what film will I review next time on this segment? It will be Ballistic: Ecks vs. Sever. That will come out on July 2nd.

Is It True? - James Bond is a Codename

Image result for james bond actors

Welcome to another edition of Is It True? and this time I talk about a James Bond fan theory. So let's not waste anymore time and just get right in to it.

What is James Bond?

See the source image

James Bond is a spy series created by Ian Fleming back in 1953. Fleming would feature James Bond in twelve books and two short stories. Since then the character of James Bond has been adapted for radio, comic strips, television, video games, and films. The movies being the longest continuity with a total 24 films and a 25th upcoming film the series has gained a grand total of $7.040 billion thus making it the fourth highest-grossing film series to date.

The Theory

So now that you have a brief summary of what the James Bond franchise is let me tell you about the fan theory surrounding the popular series. The theory states that James Bond was never a person but a codename. This job title has been passed on to different generations over the years. Which is way in almost every movie James looks different each time.

Is The Theory Believable?

In all honesty no it isn't. The theory is kind of grasping at straws when you think about. Almost ever franchise has a different actor playing a character. Such as Superman, Spider-Man, and Batman. Does that mean their is also another person taking this codenames even thought their suppose to be the same person. Also the film series itself dismantles this theory as well. One instance being a one point in time James was married to a woman named Tracy. In the film For Your Eyes Only we see that her gravestone is Tracy Bond. If James Bond is just a codename why would Tracy have "Bond" on her gravestone if that wasn't her husband's real last name. And there was that time when Bond actor George Lazenby was using Sean Connery era gadgets such as the watch.

So this was another fun Is It True?. Anyhow guys I hoped you enjoyed this one just like the Calvin and Hobbes/Fight Club theory. I'm going to do another one but that won't come out until May. So look out for reviews for both recent and old movies, an upcoming countdown list of the worst internet critics, and a new What You Probably Didn't Know About, only this time I won't be doing a movie.

Thoughts on The Venom Teaser Trailer & People's Reactions

Living The Nerd Life — Venom Trailer 2

Hey everyone and welcome to a surprise post today. So originality I wasn't going to do this but with all of the recent buzz about the teaser trailer to Venom lately, I thought it would be a good idea to give my opinion on the teaser as well as rant on entitled fanboys reactions to it as well. So without further ado let's get into it.

The Teaser Trailer

Now before I give my review of the trailer I want you to watch it for yourself and take some time to think about it before you read my thoughts. So anyhow here you go.

Now I'm going to be completely honest with you guys. I actually like this. The reason being this is what a "teaser trailer" is suppose to be. It's suppose to draw you in, make you curious about the movie, and not give anything way. This is the point of a teaser trailer. Now would have I liked it if they gave us I sneak peak of Venom, yes of course I would but this movie doesn't come out until October. I can wait eight months until then.

Entitled Fans Reactions

So that was my opinion on the teaser and many other people's notion as well. However while that was going on the other side of the public was being kind of well like I said entitled. What I mean by that is they were acting like spoiled brats. All day I read things like

"We didn't get a single glimpse of Venom."

"How can Sony say this is a teaser trailer for Venom when we didn't even see him."

"If your teaser trailer doesn't have your title character maybe you shouldn't have shown it pushed this back."

"People need to stop using "it's just a teaser" for a defense. You know this film is going to suck so stop trying to defend it."

All day with this stuff. Now first like I said I would have loved to see Venom in the trailer but that couldn't happen for three reasons.

Reason #1. The studio finished filming two weeks ago there was no way they could have had the VFX effects done by the time the teaser was suppose to come out.

Reason #2. It's very possible maybe Sony is saving all of the good stuff like a decent CGI effect for Venom for this year's San Diego Comic-Con. That way by then they'll have stuff they won't be embarrassed to show.

Reason #3. They released it today to keep the film fresh in people's minds. It was a smart move because they have to stay relevant. It was also a good week to release on this day as suppose to next week when the only thing on the majorities mind would be Black Panther.

My other problem with this complaint is something like this has happened before. Your probably wondering for what and when. Simple really 2008's The Dark Knight. Don't believe me, while here's The Dark Knight's official teaser

Now as you just watched there was nothing. We got none of the characters and yet people thought this was awesome and brilliant. But now today what the film fandom is telling me if you don't give way the entire movie in a teaser trailer of all things. Your movie sucks and you have terrible marketing.

So anyways guys I just wanted to get this off my chest and tell you why I loved this teaser trailer so much. We may have to wait eight months for Venom but I'm definitely going to see this movie. Hopefully my theater shows it because I'm very interested on a movie focusing on supervillains instead of the superheroes. The Top 8 Elseworlds Stories I Want To Be Movies

Related image

Seven days ago I reviewed the animated movie Batman: Gotham by Gaslight. In that review I mentioned how it was the very first Elseworlds story. But for any of you who aren't comic book readers you're probably wondering what is Elseworlds? What it was a series of comic books where DC Comics' characters were set in a different universe as suppose to the main continuity. Such as instead of Superman being a good guy he would be a bad guy, stories like that. And since Batman: Gotham by Gaslight will be released on DVD/Blu-Ray in five days I decided to countdown and tell you which Elseworlds stories I would like to be movies. Now I haven't read every single one of these so I'm only counting down the ones I have read. So let's get started.

#8. Batgirl & Robin: Thrillkiller

Now the reason why I want Thrillkiller to be a movie is because for once while Batman or should I say Bruce Wayne is a character but he's not the main focus. The focus is on Batgirl and Robin. Also DC never animated a story that felt like a 1960's gangster movie so that would be pretty cool. And DC did have plans to make a Batgirl: Year One film but they cancelled that. So I think Thrillkiller could make up for that. That's if they decided to do the Batgirl: Year One movie and save this for next time.

#7. Batman: Two Faces

I'll only give you brief description of this story. It's a Batman story with elements of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. Yeah that sounds interesting doesn't it? And it's not just Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde there's also an akin to Jack the Ripper and a certain character's fate mirroring that of Barbara Gordon's fate in Batman: The Killing Joke. So with all these elements in this one story we could have a very interesting movie.

#6. The Superman Monster

I have two reasons why this should be a movie. Reason one if DC does make a Batman: Two Faces movie and if they want to a make a sequel well make The Superman Monster. The comic after all is the sequel to Batman: Two Faces so only makes sense to make it a movie out of it. Reason two filmwise we've never seen Superman in any horror like genre. So making The Superman Monster would help separate it from other live-action or animated Superman movies. Also the premise is definitely creative. What if Superman was in place of Frankenstein? Sounds ridiculous but read the story it's way better than my short version.

#5. The Batman & Dracula Trilogy

Now if none you understand this one let me explain. The Batman & Dracula Trilogy is when Batman goes toe to toe with the King of the Vampires himself Dracula. Then over the course of the story Batman himself becomes a vampire. Now I've got plenty of reasons why this should be a movie. It's going to get a little longer than most so let's get started. Reason #1 with DC making more rated r movies this story is just begging to be an animated film. Reason #2 "Vampire Batman" has made a lot of appearances in other DC Comics media. Elements of the story were used in the 2005 animated movie The Batman vs. Dracula, Vampire Batman made an appearance in the cartoon show Batman: The Brave and The Bold, and we got a little bit of this character in the 2015 animated movie Justice League: Gods and Monsters. So DC might as well get it over with a just make a movie trilogy around  Vampire Batman already. Reason #3 this is one of DC's most loved Elseworlds stories and there are plenty of fans out there who's jaws would drop if there was an announcement then digitally download it or wait a few days later and buy a physical copy of it.

#4. Elseworld's Finest: Supergirl and Batgirl

Now if DC ever decides to make a Supergirl/Batgirl team-up movie they could make an original story much like they did with Batman and Harley Quinn or they could look no further than Elseworld's Finest: Supergirl and Batgirl. One my main reason for me wanting this to be a movie is the concept. Which is what would the world be like if Clark Kent/Kal-El didn't survive thus not becoming Superman and Bruce Wayne didn't become Batman instead it's Supergirl and Batgirl that are the World's Finest.

#3. Superman: Secret Identity

The reason why I feel like Superman: Secret Identity should be made into a movie is because it's one of the many great Superman stories told. Another reason is the story is what would it be like if you woke up one day and you have Superman's powers. Not only did the comic give us a good story but I also feel as though a movie could do the same. It might get people interested in the comic book.

#2. Superman: Red Son

Now not only is Superman: Red Son a great Superman but if DC plays their cards they could make this a great DC animated movie. The reason being while Superman in this story was raised by communist he's still trying to do the right thing even thought some say otherwise. So with brilliant writing and a good animation team behind them this would be a great movie.

#1. Kingdom Come

Yeah you all probably saw this one coming. Well let me explain why Kingdom Come is my number one choice. Basically while some see this graphic novel as one of the best Superman stories ever written I see as one of the best DC Comics stories ever written. The story is there's a new age of dangerous and amoral vigilantes protecting the world but the more "traditional" superheroes step in to show them that their way isn't the right way. But while that's happening a world-ending superhuman war is brewing. With a short synopsis like that who wouldn't want this to be an animated movie. The only reason I feel like it wouldn't be made is because the animators would like to make it seem the comic leaped off the page into a film. And they would need some very skilled animators to do that. But I hope eventually this gets made into a movie.

So those were my picks and I hope you agree with all or at least some of them. Anyhow that's going to do it for me. I'll have another countdown list in March only it won't be as positive since I'm counting down six internet critics who I think are the worst.
